THE RESIDENCE
Fonteneige University Center offers young women quality accommodation and services, as well as a variety of activities and conferences that help students develop their talents and character. Each resident forms part of our personal enrichment program designed for personal growth as a means to transform society.
LIFE AT FONTENEIGE
Since 1997, Fonteneige University Centre has met the needs of young women studying in Montreal. Activities at the Residence promote balanced personal development among women in CEGEP and University by stimulating competence, autonomy and personal responsibility.
LOCATION

Fonteneige University Centre is in close proximity to the Université de Montréal (UdeM), the Hautes études commerciales (HEC) de Montréal, the École Polytechnique, and the École d’Architecture. The residence is a 4-minute walk to the University of Montreal Metro and a 26-minute bus ride to McGill. There is easy access to other Montreal universities by public transportation.
OUR INSPIRATION
Fonteneige University Centre is inspired by the message of Saint Josémaria Escriva which we strive to live in our work, dealings with others, and all aspects of daily life. Saint Josémaria founded Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church, to which the spiritual activities organized at the Fonteneige are entrusted.
CHRISTIAN FAITH

Fonteneige offers weekly classes on the Christian faith to all female university students seeking to learn more about the Christian faith in a context of openness and dialogue. These classes are open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. Fonteneige also offers daily Mass.
